mad tea party

Photographs from our groups work for our visual merchandising subject, a mock window for Peter Alexander. We worked around the idea of the mad tea party "Peter in Wonderland" including giant polka dot tea cups, hanging wall clocks, the cheshire cat, mini mushrooms, playing cards and a candy bar. Luckily between the girls we own plenty of Peter Alexander PJs... because who doesn't love a bit of Peter in bed.

micky in the van aw '13

Last Monday night, up and coming Melbourne based brand Micky In The Van launched their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. Whimsical and unique clothing but my favourite part is all the product is made in Melbourne! something many other brands are lacking. View the current collection on the website here or shop online at The Estelle Store. My top picks are the Bomb the Bomber Jacket and Miss Mister Sweater and all the pieces are great price points for locally made goodies. Love it.

For the night I wore our top seller at Bardot at the moment, the Assasin Cardi which you can buy online here or in stores if you get in quick! It's amazing and so warm and there's even a mini version available at Bardot Junior here. It's unbelievable how fashionable kids look these days isn't it?

sportsgirl loves house of holland

Iconic designer Henry Holland brought his label House of Holland to Sportsgirl for the latest collaboration, which dropped into stores earlier this month. Last week as part of LMFF Henry Holland himself launched the collection at Sportsgirl Bourke Street, discussing inspiration for the collaboration, London street style and being stalked at the airport by fans.
Inspiration for this collection came from the idea of old ladies going to a rave, which came from Hollands love for how young women dress like old bag ladies especially on the streets of London. He also loves the way old grannies wear a mix of clothing from different generations creating their own unique style. Funnily enough on this day I was wearing a vintage coat from my Grandmothers closet, you can see here on my instagram account.
Even though inspired by old ladies, there is nothing dull about the collection. Full of patchwork prints and block colours. You can shop the collection now both in select Sportsgirl stores or online here.

emma & eve pop up event

The wonderful girls at Emma & Eve hosted a pop up event at their store as part of LMFF. The day included models as real life mannequins in the front window, free goodie bags and discounts for guests. Oh and did I mention the custom made Emma & Eve lollipops! You can now shop Emma & Eve online at www.emmaandeveonline.com or like the facebook page here.
For the day I wore a mix of metallic and floral, both pieces available from Sportsgirl
